Elpida Papanelopoulou

Elpida was born in Corfu and holds a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in tennis.

As a tennis player, she has won the national championship title five times in all categories, from juniors to women. She has also competed for the Greek national team in more than 80 tournaments, including Balkan, European, and World Championships, as well as the inaugural Youth Olympic Games.

Her athletic journey through successful competitive paths and collaboration with selected athletes has contributed to her extensive knowledge, technical and tactical expertise in the sport, and evolving coaching career. She continues to provide high-quality education and guidance to young athletes, promoting physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, skill development, and fostering a love for tennis.

Lefteris Papanelopoulos

Lefteris was born in Corfu and holds a degree in Physical Education with a specialization in tennis.

His coaching journey began in 1991 when he became a coach at the Corfu Tennis Club. In 2001, he moved to the Corfu Tennis Association Club, where he achieved his second national victory alongside athlete Elpida Papanelopoulou in the U12 girls’ category. In 2006-2007, he had the opportunity to work as a coach at the Rhodes Tennis Club, where he secured the first national victory with athlete Giannis Toubakaris in the U12 boys’ category.

From 2007 to the present day, he has been active as a coach in Corfu, dedicating himself to training elite athletes with great commitment.
His efforts have been accompanied by significant successes, including numerous first-place national victories. Among these, athlete Elpida Papanelopoulou won the Greek championship title five times in all categories. Additionally, she achieved the 2nd place in the Balkan Championships in the U14 category in 2008 and was ranked 24th by the Hellenic Tennis Federation (H.T.F.) and 180th by the International Tennis Federation (I.T.F.). She also participated in more than 60 National Team events.

In the years 2008, 2009, and 2010, he served as the coach of the National Girls’ Team in the U14, U16, and U18 categories in all European Championships.

From the year 2000 until today, he has served as a physical education teacher in schools in Corfu, and in 2006-2007, he worked as a physical education teacher in the Rhodes region.
